<br /> <br />II <br /> <br />City Council <br />f~inance Committee <br /> <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 2, 2007 <br />City Hall, City Manager's Office <br />749 Main Street <br /> <br />City of Louisville <br /> <br />Call to Order - The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm. <br /> <br />Roll Call was taken and the 'following members were present: <br /> <br />City Council: <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk and Council Member Sheri Marsella <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Council Member Sackett <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Heather Balser, Interim City Manager, Alan Miller, <br />Acting Finance Director, <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMME:NTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />OPEN ISSUES <br /> <br />The May Financial Statements were presented to the Finance Committee. The <br />narrative prepared by the Accounting Manager and Finance Director can be <br />located on the City's website at www.ci.louisville.co.us. Mayor Sisk asked about <br />the May revenue amount of Sales Tax indicated in the report since the final May <br />Sales Tax had not been determined. The Sales Tax figure presented in the report <br />represented an estimated accrual amount based on the prior year trend. Mayor <br />Sisk also indicated interest in seeing the report in the future contain an analysis <br />of costs vs benefit regarding any Sales Tax rebates granted. <br /> <br />The 2006 CAFR was presented to the Finance Committee from Wendy <br />Swanhorst of Swanhorst and Company. There were no material issues of <br />concern in the audit. There was some discussion regarding the requirement to <br />value all roads and bridges by year end in preparation for next year's audit.
