CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />Resolution No. 13 <br />Series 1976 ____ <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville in the past <br />has adopted resolutions; governing annexation standards and procedures <br />in order to insure orderly and quality growth in the City, and <br />WHEREAS, because of the passage of recent legislation namely <br />H. B. 1041 (1974) it hers become necessary to update the present <br />City of Louisville standards and procedures, <br />NO~l, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Louisville that the folloa~ing is hereby adopted as the guideline <br />for annexations to the City of Louisville: <br />LOUISVILLE ANNEXATION STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES <br />June 1, 1976 <br />This Resolution sets forth the procedures which shall be followed to <br />achieve annexation to the City of Louisville, Colorado and the <br />standards which must be met by every proposed annexation/development <br />prior to consideration of an annexation ordinance by the City Council. <br />Certain requirements may be waived by the City Council as provided <br />herein; hoNrever, in no event shall the Planning Commission recommend <br />approval, or shall the City Council approve any annexation petition <br />which violates the criteria intent of these standards and procedures. <br />GENERAL PROCEDURE <br />1. City Administrator Conference. <br />The party proposing annexation or his repres~tttative (applicant) <br />shall meet with the City Administrator to ascertain the potential <br />feasibility of the proposed annexation and to obtain all applicable <br />ordinances, resolutions, codes and policies of the City. <br />If the applicant so desires, the City Administrator shall schedule <br />an appear~~ce of the applicant before the City Council at the <br />
