Public Outreach Task Force <br />Minutes <br />April 30, 2014 <br />City Hall, Spruce Room <br />749 Main Street <br />3:00 <br />PM <br />Meeting was called to order at 3:05 pm. The following people were present: <br />Task Force Members: <br />Shelley Angell <br />Eric Fowles <br />Julie Kovash <br />Aquiles La Grave <br />Michael Menaker <br />Staff: <br />Troy Russ, Planning and Building Safety Director <br />Meredyth Muth, Public Relations Manager <br />Members of Public: <br />Angie Layton <br />Members met in a brainstorming session regarding communications and <br />outreach. Brainstorming included discussion of mobile phone apps; social media, <br />specifically Twitter; a dedicated web site for Louisville news; communications <br />campaign ideas, and how better to organize information so people can find what <br />they are looking for online. <br />Related to current processes, members discussed the City’s newsletter and how <br />it is frequently noted as very useful by residents, how to make it even more <br />useful, and should it be completed more often. <br />Members briefly discussed the idea of better branding for City news and how this <br />could drive more traffic to City information sites and help with community <br />awareness of City news. <br />City of Louisville <br />City Council 749 Main Street <br />Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4536 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.us <br />
