RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, The City Council had previously by Resolution created <br />the position of General Manager for the City of Louisville and <br />WHEREAS, In the opinion of the majority of the members of the <br />City Council said position of General Manager has not worked out <br />satisfactorily to the best interests of the City of Louisville and <br />the citizens of the City of Louisville, and <br />WHEREAS, It is further the opinion of the majority of the members <br />of the City Council at this time that the position of General Manager <br />be abolished, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED That the position of General <br />Manager for the City of Louisville be abolished as of the third day <br />of April, 1964, and. that the person holding said position at the time <br />be given two weeks' notice of this action, <br />IT IS FURTHER HEREBY RESOLVEll That an Ordinance be drawn up <br />creating the position of City Administrator for study and consideration <br />by the City Council and that said Ordinance, among other things, shall <br />set forth and designate the duties and authority of said office. <br />Dated this 20th day of March, 1964, <br />
