The Study is evaluating opportunities and costs regarding a potential
Recreation and Senior Center Expansion and Aquatic Center Options. Throughout
the winter and spring, the City invites you to participate in several events that will
help identify and refine options regarding the future of recreation in Louisville.
First, a survey was mailed in mid - February to 3,000 randomly selected residents
throughout Louisville. These statistically valid responses will provide valuable infor-
mation regarding recreation improvements and amenities to inform the Expansion
Task Force's strategies in designing options. This survey will also be available to the
public online to provide input.
"As we've talked to people and collected their feedback throughout the study,
we are beginning to identify key trends," said Kathy Martin, Superintendent of
Recreation and Senior Services. "This survey will help us pinpoint options and
Continued on page 2
