CITY OF LOUISVILLE APRIL 19, 1988 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Regular Session in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville=_, Colorado. Mayor Fauson called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were present: Councilmembers: Randy Carnival, Steve Anderson, Bob Szymanski, John Sackett, Mike ]Kohr and Alan Scarpella Staff present: Rich Wanush, Acting City Administrator Steve Williamson, City Attorney Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety Sharon Asti-Caranci, Director of Financial Services Larry Lillo, Director of Community Services Tom Phare, Director of Public Works Also present: APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT CALENDAR CONSENT CALENDAR: REGULAR BUSINESS: Pam Ferris, City C1~=_rk William Hesson, Treasurer Mayor Fauson asked :Eor any changes to the Agenda. None. Mohr moved and Mayor Fauson seconded to approve the Agenda <~s submitted. Unanimous. Mayor Fauson asked :Eor any changes to the Consent Calendar. None. Mayor Fauson moved and Sackett seconded to approve the Consent Calendar as submitted. Unanimous. Approval of Minutes Approval of Bills Information Only - Final Quotes for City Insurance PROCLAMATION - SENIOR CITIZENS MONTH Mayor Fauson proclaimed the Month of May of Louisville Senior C:itizen's Month to honor all Senior Citizens in :Louisville. AUTHORIZATION TO OBTAIN BIDS - 1988 CIP PROJECTS Phare explained. that included in the 1988 Capital Improvements Program are funds for street reconstruction and :resurfacing, and concrete replacements. Also included in the street maintenance budget are funds for street chip seals. At this time the Public Works Department is requesting authorization to obtain bids for the above identified work. Council was presented with maps showing the proposed location for ship seals and sidewalk replacements. The street 1
