Tree preservation issues: The city of Boulder is also considering tree
preservation issues, largely due to construction projects in older
neighborhoods on the west side of town. Mike has contacted Paul
Wood of our Planning Department, who may be able to attend an
HFAB meeting this fall to continue discussing ways to protect trees in
Louisville. Joe suggested looking at how other cities such as
Oakbrook, IL have handled similar situations.
VII. Landscape maintenance: Current budget constraints will limit staffing
additions for maintenance. Chris is planning to map every site that the
City manages, in order to determine maintenance requirements. His
list will also include a history of specific sites, eg areas that came
under City management by default, such as HOA entryways.
City of Louisville
Land Management Department 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4735 (phone) 303.335.4738 (fax) www_ci_louisville_co_us
