RESOLUTION NO. 10 <br />SERIES 2018 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FROM THE HISTORIC <br />PRESERVATION FUND TO ACQUIRE THE BLUE PARROT LANDMARK SIGN <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) a request to allocate funds from the Historic Preservation Fund to <br />acquire the Blue Parrot Landmark Sign, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff and the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission have <br />reviewed the application and found it to be in compliance with Resolution 20, Series 2009, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission has held a properly <br />noticed public heanng on the request to landmark the sign, and consider the allocation of <br />funds request and has recommended the requests be forwarded to the Louisville City Council <br />with recommendations of approval, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the request for the allocation of <br />funds to acquire the Blue Parrot sign and the Commission's recommendation and report, and <br />has held a properly noticed public hearing on the application; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the acquisition of the Blue Parrot Landmark <br />Sign provides the City the highest assurance that the sign will be preserved intact, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1.
