RESOLUTION NO. 18 <br />SERIES 2022 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2022 BUDGET BY AMENDING <br />APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL FUND, OPEN SPACE & PARKS <br />FUND, CEMETERY FUND, HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND, RECREATION <br />FUND, CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND, WATER UTILITY FUND, WASTEWATER <br />UTILITY FUND, STORM WATER UTILITY FUND, SOLID WASTE & <br />RECYCLING FUND, AND GOLF COURSE FUND FOR ADDITIONAL <br />APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN SUCH FUNDS AND ADJUSTING BUDGETED <br />REVENUE IN THE WATER UTILITY FUND, WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND, <br />STORMWATER UTILITY FUND, AND SOLID WASTE & RECYCLING FUND <br />WHEREAS, the need exists to amend the 2022 budget by amending <br />appropriations in the General Fund, Open Space & Parks Fund, Cemetery Fund, <br />Historic Preservation Fund, Recreation Fund, Capital Projects Fund, Water Utility <br />Fund, Wastewater Utility Fund, Storm Water Utility Fund, Solid Waste & Recycling <br />Fund, and Golf Course Fund and adjusting the budget revenue in the Water Utility <br />Fund, Wastewater Utility Fund, Storm Water Utility Fund, Solid Waste & Recycling <br />Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, the need to amend the 2022 budget arises: <br />1. To establish budgets for City expenditures in response to the <br />Marshall Fire; <br />2. To establish interfund transfer budgets from the General Fund to <br />replace enterprise revenue as a result of implementing Ordinance <br />1823; <br />3. To adopt operating adjustments to the 2022 expenditure budget for <br />other items that were not anticipated or were not measureable at the <br />time City Council approved the original 2022 budget; <br />4. To adopt adjustments to the 2022 wage and benefit budgets for the <br />implementation of employee appreciation payments; <br />5. To adopt adjustments to the 2022 wage and benefit budgets for new <br />positions and temporary personnel; <br />6. To adopt adjustments to the overtime budgets in response to time <br />spent on the Marshall Fire; and <br />7. To reduce the revenue budgets in the Utility Funds for estimated <br />reductions in revenue and to offset some of the lost revenue with <br />transfers from the General Fund. <br />Resolution No. 17, Series 2022 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
