<br />EGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />DECEMBER 20, 1983 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in regular session in the <br />~ouncil Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Meier <br />called the meeting to order at 7:33 P.M. M.S.T. There being present at the <br />call of the roll the following persons: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: John Leary, Michael Cussen, Susan Morris, <br />Don Cummings, Dennis Ferrera, and Herman Fauson <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Leon A. Wurl, City Administrator <br />Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney <br />William Hesson, City Treasurer <br />John Rupp, Director of Community Development <br />August Hioco, Director of Community Services <br />Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety <br />Karl Kasch, Director of Public Works <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci, Director of Financial Services <br />Cleo Mudrock, City Clerk <br />Steve Ferris, Chief Building Inspector <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS ELECT: Robert Woodson <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor and Councilmembers accepted the minutes <br />of the regular meeting of December 6, 1983 <br />as presented. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that the agenda be approved as sub- <br />mitted. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE BILLS <br /> <br />City Treasurer Hesson read the bills in the <br />amount of $160,439.35. <br />Councilman Cussen moved that the bills be <br />approved and checks issued for the same. <br />Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />WALDO'S - LIQUOR LICENSE <br />RENEWAL <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the application <br />for renewal and report from the Police Dept. <br />indicating numerous violations of the City <br />Ordinance relating to reporting of problems <br />at the business. <br />Expressed concern with the failure to report <br />violations of the ordinance and wished council <br />to discuss this and explore some options, i.e. <br />approve the renewal with limitations, or <br />call for a public hearing. Felt it would be <br />inappropriate to grant the renewal without <br />discussing some of the implications it has <br />for the City. <br />
