<br />-2GULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />APRIL 7, 1981 <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following <br />Council members present: Fauson, DelPizzo, Carnival, Meier and Domenico. <br />Absent: Councilman Cummings. Also present were City Administrator Wurl, . <br />City Attorney Joss, City Treasurer Hesson, Director of Community Development <br />Rupp, Police Chief Leesman, Director of Community Services Hioco, City En- <br />gineer Blanchard, Chief Accountant Caranci, Planner Randall, and Acting City <br />Clerk Hudrock. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />ITEMS ENCLOSED <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />AMERICAN LEGION - SPECIAL <br />EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE - SET <br />DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING DATE SET <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci and Council approved the min- <br />utes of the rescheduled meeting of March <br />19, 1981 as presented. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier moved that the items en- <br />closed be accepted and brought up under the <br />proper head of business. Seconded by Council- <br />man Domenico. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss advised Council that the <br />American Legion had submitted an amended <br />application for a special events liquor <br />license they had changed their plans <br />and requested that the April 16, 1981 date <br />be set up to April 25, 1981 commencing at <br />6:00 P.M. and continuing until 2:00 A.M. <br />on April 26, 1981. Also that the same date <br />of May 22, 1981 commencing at 6:00 P.M. and <br />continuing until 2:00 A.M., May 23, 1981 <br />be submitted. He suggested that Council <br />set the public hearing for April 21, 1981, <br />and the proper posting will be done. <br />Councilman Domenico moved thtat the public <br />hearing for the special events liquor license <br />for the American Legion be set for April 21, <br />1981. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />Inquired since the previous date for the <br />special events liquor license had been ap- <br />proved at the last meeting, would it be ap- <br />propriate to rescind that approval so that <br />the American Legion would not be over their <br />quota for special events liquor licenses <br />requests, <br />Attorney Joss advised that our records should <br />state either that the American Legion had <br />withdrawn their request for April 16, 1981, <br />or that Council revoke that request. He <br />then advised that Council vote on the above <br />motion and then ma~e a motion and vote'to revoke <br />the previous date of April 16, 1981. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. <br />
