<br />ESCHEDULED tffiETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />HARCH 5, 1981 <br /> <br />l"layor Caranci called the meeting to order at '7: 30 P .N. with the following <br />Council members present: Fauson, GWIlIllings, Carnival, and Domenico. Absent <br />Councilmen DelPizzo and Meier. Also present 'Nere City Administrator Wurl, <br />City Attorney Joss, City Treasurer Hesson, Director of Community Development <br />Rupp, Police Chief Leesrnan, Director or Cownunity Services Hioco, City <br />Engineer Blanchard, Chief Accountant Caranci, Planner Randall, and Actin6 <br />City Clerk Hudrock. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci and Council approved the <br />minutes of February 17, 1981 as pre- <br />sented. <br /> <br />ITEHS ENCLOSED <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the <br />items enclosed be accepted and brought <br />up under the proper head of business. <br />Seconded by Councilman Carnival. <br />Question called for. All in favor. <br />110tion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEHS <br />RICHARD ROSS - BLACK DIA}IDND <br />LIQUOR LICENSE - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Hayor Caranci opened the public hearing <br />and asked Attorney Joss if everything <br />was in order. <br />Attorney Joss replied that it was and <br />advised Council that this was a new <br />liquor license application by Richard <br />Ross to be located at 732 Hain St. <br />Each member of council had a copy of <br />the application, proposed design of <br />the interior. Letters of reference <br />had peen provided previously. <br />Hayor Caranci called for persons sup- <br />porting the application. <br /> <br />RICHARD ROSS <br /> <br />Hr. Ross spoke in support 0:[ the appli- <br />cation. He stated that with the growth <br />of the area - Centennial Valley Hall, <br />Pow Wow and the revitalization of the <br />downtown area there was a definite <br />need for his type of establishment. <br />He had 65 signatures on his petition <br />to substantiate need. <br />The interior of his establishment would <br />be reminiscent of the old mining era, <br />including cabanas. <br /> <br />Nayor Caranci asked if there was anyone <br />present opposed to the application. <br />None. <br />
