REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL JULY 1, 1980 .-- / Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the follow-\ ing Council members present: Fauson, DelPizzo, Carnival, Meier, and \ Domenico. Excused absence: Lawrence Caranci. Others present: City, Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Treasurer Hesson, Dir. Community Dev. Rupp, Acting Dir. Parks & Rec. Hioco, and City Clerk Stahl. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes of the June 17, 1980 council meeting as presented. ENCLOSURERS Councilman Fauson moved that enclosurers be accepted and placed under the proper head of business. COUNCIL ITEMS AMERICAN LEGION LIQUOR LICENSE SPECIAL EVENTS PUBLIC HEARING Attorney Joss reported that the application was in order and that the notice of hearing had been posted properly. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. There were no comments for or against the license. Public hearing was closed. Councilman Meier moved that the American Legion special events liquor license for the dates of July 26, and August 24, 1980 be approved. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Moton carried. 5-0. ZURICK ANNEXATION REQUEST Mr. Wurl noted that Mr. Zurick had applied for annexation several weeks ago, but it was inadvertently left on the Council agenda at the last meeting. Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Zurick annexation request be referred to Plan- ning Commission for further review. Councilman Carnival stated that at the last meeting a motion was made and passed that further annexations be asked to delay their zoning requests until the complete study of Louisville is made, and felt this request should be delayed. Councilman Meier stated that he agreed that any action on this request be delayed. Councilman Domenico felt that action should be taken as it was the City who approached the parties asking that they consider annexation.
