<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />APRIL 15, 1980 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with <br />the following Council members present: Fauson, Caranci, DelPizzo, <br />Carnival, Meier and Domenico. Others: City Administrator Wurl, <br />City Attorney Joss, Police Chief Leesman, Dir. Community Dev. Rupp, <br />Dir. Parks & Rec. Stahl, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Stahl. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />ENCLOSURERS <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br /> <br />AMERICAN LEGION SPECIAL <br />EVENT LIQUOR LIC. PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br /> <br />AMERICAN LEGION <br />BACK HOE REQUEST <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes of the April 1, 1980 meeting <br />as presented. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival moved that the enclo- <br />sures be accepted and brought up under <br />the proper head of business. Seconded by <br />Councilman Domenico. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the appli- <br />cation was in order and that it was <br />posted at the premises at least 10 <br />days before the hearing. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing <br />There were no comments for or against <br />the application. Public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Councilman Caranci asked about the dates <br />and times. It was noted that the May <br />4 party would be a Sunday, and that is <br />why the time is only until 8:00 P.M. <br />With no other comments Councilman <br />Caranci moved that the American Legion <br />special events liquor license request <br />be accepted. Seconded by Councilman <br />Carnival. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak reported to Council that <br />the American Legion had requested the <br />use of the City backhoe for some work <br />to be done on their property. It was <br />noted that they would supply the operator. <br />After Council discussed the issue, Council- <br />man DelPizzo moved that Council permit <br />the American Legion to use the City backhoe <br />for the necessary amount of time with a <br />City operator running the equipment at no <br />cost and the American Legion pay for gas. <br />Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion <br />carried 5-1 Councilman Fauson voting No. <br />It was noted tha if the operator does not <br />donate his time the agreement will be void. <br />
