CENTAURUS DECA CHAPTER <br /> 1ST PLACE <br /> STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE <br /> WHEREAS, the Centaurus DECA Chapter and their advisors have demonstrated the leadership and <br /> skills necessary to succeed in today's business environment; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the members and their advisor were awarded 1st Place Chapter of the Year at the recent <br /> Colorado DECA State Leadership Conference; and <br /> WHEREAS, the team of Tara Cluck, Brian Gurley, and Tiffany Purcell successfully developed the <br /> manual, and interviewed with the judges; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this is only the second time in twenty years that the DECA Chapter of Brighton High <br /> School has lost to another DECA Chapter; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the members and their advisors have helped create a positive image for their school and <br /> the citizens of Louisville and Lafayette; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that I, Tom Davidson, Mayor of the City of Louisville, <br /> Colorado, along with the City Council and citizens of Louisville, officially acknowledge the outstanding <br /> achievements and contributions of the Centaurus DECA Chapter and their advisor and encourage each <br /> member of the Chapter to continue their positive leadership roles and scholastic contributions. <br /> DATED this 16th day of May, 2000 <br /> •k 4, Mayor <br /> v�f f••• y� G� �1 <br /> A ST: rm'�� <br /> i <br /> CIO <br /> lie <br /> 1 , <br /> �� '` i <br /> 1``` `�,.y��: ., C ty Clerk <br />
