<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />AUGUSTl, 1978 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the follow- <br />ing Council members present: DiCarlo, Meier, Caranci, Kilker and <br />DelPizzo. Excused Absence: Councilman DiLorenzo. Others present: <br />City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Treasurer Hesson, <br />City Engineer Jicinsky, Community Development Direc. Drumm and City <br />Clerk Stahl. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes of the July 18, 1978, meeting <br />as presented. <br /> <br />ENCLOSURERS <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that enclosurers <br />be accepted and brought up under the pro- <br />per head of business. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Caranci. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />SOLAR HEATING SWIMMING <br />POOL - AWARD BID <br /> <br />Mr. Ron Slater, representing FEDCO. <br />gave an explanation of how the set up <br />works to collect solar energy and use it <br />for heating. He stated that the plan <br />would be guaranteed and would provide <br />approximately 37% of the necessary heating. <br />It was stated by the FEDCO Engineer that <br />maintenance costs would be about $50.00 <br />per year. <br />After discussion, Councilman Caranci moved <br />that the bid be awarded to FED CO in the <br />amount of $17,000. Seconded by Council- <br />man DiCarlo. Roll call. DelPizzo yes, <br />Kilker yes, Caranci yes, Meier yes and <br />DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that the vacancy <br />had been advertised and there was only one <br />applicant, Mr. Bob Jones. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Mr. Bob <br />Jones be appointed to fill the vacancy <br />on the Housing Authority Board. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that everything was <br />in order and that the police report will <br />be available by the public hearing. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that a public <br />hearing be set on the Kelly liquor li- <br />cense application for September 5, 1978. <br />Seconded by Councilman Meier.
