REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL AUGUST 2, 1977 Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following council members present: Domenico, DiLorenzo, Caranci DiCarlo and DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Planner Drumm, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes of the July 19, 1977, City Council meeting as presented. COUNCIL ITEMS COUNCIL VACANCY It was stated that there were two letters from persons interested in filling the vacancy by Councilman McDonald; Steve Anderson and Vivian Dhieux. Mr. Wurl read both letters and a letter from Community of Commerce supporting Mr. Anderson. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the vote be made by secret ballot. Seconded by Coun- cilman DiLorenzo. Motion carried. Vote by secret ballot: Anderson 2 Dhieux 3 Mrs. Dhieux was voted in to serve out the term of Councilman McDonald, taking office on August 16, 1977, Council meeting. Councilman DiCarlo then moved that the ballots be kept on file with the City Clerk for 30 days. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Motion carried. WESTERN EMPIRE CONSTRUCTORS Mr. Wurl read the letter from the con- sulting engineer recommending the approval of final payment. Councilman DiCarlo moved that Council authorize final payment to Western Empire Constructors in the amount of $44,954.60. Seconded by Coun- DelPizzo. Roll call. Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, DiLorenzo yes. DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Councilman Caranci moved that Council authorize final payment to Poss Construction in the amount of $238.50 for work done at Pirates Park. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call. DiLorenzo yes, Domenico yes, DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes. Motion carried. POSS CONSTRUCTION PIRATES PARK
