<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JULY 5, 1977 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the follow- <br />ing Council members present: DiLorenzo, Caranci, DiCarlo, McDonald, <br />DelPizzo. Councilman Domenico arrived late - excused. Others present: <br />City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Planner Drumm, City <br />Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />TOMORROW ART FILMS <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />WESTERN EMPIRE <br />CONSTRUCTORS <br />PAY ESTIMATE Ji9 <br />AUTHORIZATION FOR <br />FINAL PAYMENT PUBLICATION <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes <br />as read. <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Urbana, representing Tomorrow Art <br />Films stated that they were interested in <br />getting a story from the City and would like <br />permission to retape the tapes made by the <br />Centennial Connnittee interviewing the <br />citizens of the City. <br />Mr. Urbana stated that the company would use <br />the tapes to get a story and script dating <br />back from the mining times. He stated that <br />royalties would be paid for force protection, <br />baricades and persons who help with the in- <br />formation pE!rtaining to the City. <br />Councilman McDonald asked if there would be <br />some type of form releasing the City and <br />persons inte~rviewed. <br />Mr. Urbana stated that a release form can be <br />made up and signed by the persons involved so <br />they will be aware of what is of what is <br />happening and be giving their consent to <br />use the tape.s. <br />Percy Conarroe stated that he did not feel it <br />right for the City Council to sanction such <br />a doing as it may cause bad publicity for the <br />City bringing up the past. <br />After discussion it was decided by Council <br />that Mr. Urbana should present a release form <br />for the City Attorney's review along with the <br />Centennial Connnittee to use for the persons <br />recording the taps and Mr. Enrietto requested <br />that the Centennial Committee be able to re- <br />view the script. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he would like Councils <br />approval for the payment and advertising for <br />final payment. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Council approve <br />pay estimate #9 to WEstern Empire Constructors <br />in the amount of $6,469.35 and advertise for <br />final payment. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. <br />Roll call vote. Domenico yes, Caranci yes, <br />DiLorenzo yes, DiCarlo yes, McDonald yes, <br />DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. <br />
