<br />:t{EGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAY 3, 1977 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the <br />following Council members present: DiLorenzo, Caranci, DiCarlo, <br />DelPizzo and McDonald. Councilman Domenico arrived late. Others pre- <br />sent: City Administrator Wurl, City Treasurer Hesson, City Attorney <br />Joss and City Clerk Santilli. Absent: City Engineer White and City <br />Planner Drumm. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and council approved the <br />minutes as read. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />POppy DAY PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read the proclamation de- <br />claring May 20 and 21st as Poppy Day. <br />Councilman DiLorenzo moved that the pro- <br />clamation be adopted. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman McDonald. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Harney presented Mayor Waschak with <br />a poppy and poppy corsage for Mrs. Waschak. <br /> <br />WESTERN EMPIRE CONSTRUCTORS <br />PAY ESTIMATE #7 - <br />WATER TANK <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Pay Estimate <br />#7 in the amount of $25,967.99 be approved <br />to Western Empire Constructors for work <br />on the water tank. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiLorenzo. Roll call. DiLorenzo yes, <br />Caranci yes, McDonald yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PLANNING & ZONING <br />COMMISSION APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that two letters were <br />received for the vacancy on the Planning <br />Board. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the adver- <br />tisment for the vacancy be made one more <br />time in the local paper before a member is <br />chosen. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />JIMKIN, INC. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the matter should be <br />sent to the Planning Commission for review. <br />Councilman McDonald moved that the Jimkin <br />request be tabled until reviewed by the <br />Planning Commission. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS WEEK <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read the proclamation proclaiming <br />the week of May 22-28 as Public Works Week. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the procla- <br />mation for Public Works Week be adopted. <br />Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Motion <br />carried. <br />
