:t{EGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL MAY 3, 1977 Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following Council members present: DiLorenzo, Caranci, DiCarlo, DelPizzo and McDonald. Councilman Domenico arrived late. Others pre- sent: City Administrator Wurl, City Treasurer Hesson, City Attorney Joss and City Clerk Santilli. Absent: City Engineer White and City Planner Drumm. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Mayor Waschak and council approved the minutes as read. COUNCIL ITEMS POppy DAY PROCLAMATION Attorney Joss read the proclamation de- claring May 20 and 21st as Poppy Day. Councilman DiLorenzo moved that the pro- clamation be adopted. Seconded by Coun- cilman McDonald. Motion carried. Mrs. Harney presented Mayor Waschak with a poppy and poppy corsage for Mrs. Waschak. WESTERN EMPIRE CONSTRUCTORS PAY ESTIMATE #7 - WATER TANK Councilman Caranci moved that Pay Estimate #7 in the amount of $25,967.99 be approved to Western Empire Constructors for work on the water tank. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call. DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, McDonald yes, DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION APPOINTMENT Mr. Wurl reported that two letters were received for the vacancy on the Planning Board. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the adver- tisment for the vacancy be made one more time in the local paper before a member is chosen. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. JIMKIN, INC. Mr. Wurl stated that the matter should be sent to the Planning Commission for review. Councilman McDonald moved that the Jimkin request be tabled until reviewed by the Planning Commission. Seconded by Coun- cilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. PUBLIC WORKS WEEK PROCLAMATION Mr. Wurl read the proclamation proclaiming the week of May 22-28 as Public Works Week. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the procla- mation for Public Works Week be adopted. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Motion carried.
