<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 6, 1975 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the <br />following Council members present: Domenico, Berry, Caranci, Dhieux, <br />DelPizzo and DiCarlo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City <br />Attorney Morris, City Engineer White, City Treasurer Hesson, City Planner <br />Drumm, and City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes as read. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />H.B. 1041 <br /> <br />City Planner Drumm presented a summary <br />of H.B. 1041 stating that the Planning <br />Commission had taken all necessary steps <br />required under H.B. 1041 for the prob- <br />lems that Louisville has in the planning <br />area. He stated that the Council can not <br />designate any of the areas or activities <br />which are outside of the corporate limits. <br /> <br />It was stated that Geologic Hazard Areas <br />have been identified and will be reg- <br />ulated through the amended Zoning Ord- <br />inance Articl 13. <br /> <br />Mineral Resources have been identified <br />by Planning Commission through plan <br />amendments for regulation under H.B. 1041. <br />Mr. Drumm stated that the City will have <br />to prepare material to satisfy H.B. 1529 <br />which includes the regulations of any <br />mineral resource areas that may be of <br />value. <br /> <br />Flood Hazard Areas have been identified <br />by Planning Commission based on Soil <br />Conservation Service mapping. This is <br />also regulated by City Ordinance. <br /> <br />Under Major Extension Water & Sewer <br />facilities; based on preliminary guide- <br />lines distributed by the LUC, the City <br />has revised their definition of what is <br />a major extension which will be regulated <br />through the amendment to the annexation <br />policy and guidelines statement. New <br />communities have not been designated by <br />the Planning Commission and the staff <br />proposed that it not be designated; how- <br />ever, the state guidelines have been <br />incorporated into the annexation policy <br />and guidelines statement amendment. <br />
