REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL MAY 6, 1975 Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following Council members present: Domenico, Berry, Caranci, Dhieux, DelPizzo, and DiCarlo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Morris, City Treasurer Hesson, City Engineer White and City Clerk Santilli. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes of the regular meeting and special meeting as read. CORRESPONDENCE Councilman Berry moved that correspon- dence be accepted and brought up under the proper head of business. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. COUNCIL ITEMS POppy DAY Mrs. Clara Harney requested that the Mayor proclaim May 23 and 24 as Poppy Day. COuncilman Domenico moved that May 23 and 24 be proclaimed as Poppy Day. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. Mrs. Harney presented Mayor Waschak a poppy and a corsage of poppies for Mrs. Waschak. Mr. Wurl read Resolution 9A acknowledging the services of Pat Scholl during her term as Councilwoman. Councilman Berry moved that Resolution 9A, Series 1975 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. Mrs. Scholl was presented the Resolution. RESOLUTION 9A COUNCILWOMAN SCHOLL PARKS & RECREATION COTTONWOOD PARK BID Mr. Helart informed Council that a bid was received on Cottonwood Park by Howard D. Jury, Inc. Mr. Helart stated that the bid will be negotiated to de- crease the amount. After discussion Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Parks Department be allowed up to $75,000 for Cottonwood Park to be negotiated with Howard D. Jury, Inc. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. Domenico no, Berry yes, Caranci yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo no. Motion carried.
