<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAY 6, 1975 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the <br />following Council members present: Domenico, Berry, Caranci, Dhieux, <br />DelPizzo, and DiCarlo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, <br />City Attorney Morris, City Treasurer Hesson, City Engineer White and <br />City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes of the regular meeting and <br />special meeting as read. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />Councilman Berry moved that correspon- <br />dence be accepted and brought up under <br />the proper head of business. Seconded <br />by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />POppy DAY <br /> <br />Mrs. Clara Harney requested that the <br />Mayor proclaim May 23 and 24 as Poppy <br />Day. COuncilman Domenico moved that <br />May 23 and 24 be proclaimed as Poppy <br />Day. Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br />Motion carried. Mrs. Harney presented <br />Mayor Waschak a poppy and a corsage of <br />poppies for Mrs. Waschak. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read Resolution 9A acknowledging <br />the services of Pat Scholl during her <br />term as Councilwoman. Councilman Berry <br />moved that Resolution 9A, Series 1975 <br />be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Motion carried. Mrs. Scholl <br />was presented the Resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9A <br />COUNCILWOMAN SCHOLL <br /> <br />PARKS & RECREATION <br />COTTONWOOD PARK BID <br /> <br />Mr. Helart informed Council that a bid <br />was received on Cottonwood Park by <br />Howard D. Jury, Inc. Mr. Helart stated <br />that the bid will be negotiated to de- <br />crease the amount. After discussion <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the <br />Parks Department be allowed up to $75,000 <br />for Cottonwood Park to be negotiated <br />with Howard D. Jury, Inc. Seconded by <br />Councilman Berry. Roll call. Domenico <br />no, Berry yes, Caranci yes, Dhieux yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo no. Motion carried. <br />
