IJlt:Ei'Ir'JG PU1\.I)OS.E l1ayor .Haschak informed Council that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Community Development Program. Mr. Gus Byrom, Oblinger-Smith, informed Council as to how the priorities were developed for the Cormmmity Development funds. Mr. ByroEl suggested that if COlliicil wished the Storm Sewer System could be changed to Hater System Improvements. He stated that he did check with H.D.D. and the expenditure of funds tmvards this improvement is eligibl.e aS~'Jell 2S pay~lent for principle and interest towards a bond. Councilman DiCarlo asked if urban de- velopment could be cut or would this jeopardize the grant. Mr. Byrom stated that it would jeopardize the urban de- velopment program in the City. Council discussed the breakdown of funds through the program. Councilman DiCarlo suggested a cut on rehabilitation and administration. Mr. Chenoweth stated that there is a possibility of matching funds and this would cut some homes out of the program. After more discussion Councilman Berry moved that the app- lication as proposed for the COIiliilunity Development program be modified to change the project activity description from Storm Sewer Systems to Water Systems Improvement in the same amount. Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. Roll call. Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, Domenico yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried.
