REGULAR MEETING Mayor Waschak called the Council members present: DiCarlo. Others present: and City Clerk Santilli. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES CORRESPONDENCE CHIEF MUNGER RECOGNITION GENERAL POLICY STATEMENT COAL CREEK ARTICLE COUNCIL ITEMS MAYHOFFER DITCHES LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL JUNE 18, 1974 meeting to order at 7:40 P.M. with the following Domenico, Berry, Scholl, Dhieux, DelPizzo, and City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Morris, Absent: City Treasurer Hesson. Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes as read. Mayor Waschak read a letter from Betty Miller asking for Councils support for her nomination to the CML Board. Councilman Berry moved that Chief Munger be commended for his recent graduation from Arapahoe Community College in Law Enforcement. Seconded by Council- man Domenico. Motion carried. Mayor Waschak appointed Councilwoman Dhieux, Councilwoman Scholl, and Coun- cilman Berry to rewrite the General Policy Statement. Question was brought up as to responding to the newspapers in regards to an article which was printed in Town & Country on June 12, 1974 regarding the Coal Creek project. Mayor Waschak was going to talk with Joe Madonna in regards to responding to the article. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the correspondence be accepted and brought up under proper heading. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. There is still a problem with the May- hoffer ditches. Mr. Wurl is to talk with the City Engineer about the sit- uation. Mayor Waschak stated that down stairs at the water plant there is an electri- cal transformer box and because of the water flooding he asked that the box be placed upstairs where there would not be danger of it getting wet and hurting someone. Mayor Waschak stated that he received a letter from Mrs. Gary Varra asking that a small gift be sent up to the 1.
