<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />APRIL 16, 1974 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P.M. by Mayor Waschak with the <br />following Council members present: Domenico, Berry, Scholl, Dhieux, <br />DelPizzo and DiCarlo. Others present were: City Administrator Wurl, <br />City Treasurer Hesson, City Attorney Morris, and City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Councilwoman Scholl asked that her vote <br />be corrected to "no" on the motion to <br />accept the division as submitted by the <br />Water Conservation Board in regards to <br />the Coal Creek Project. Also in regards <br />to the price of the Coal Creek project, <br />Councilman Berry stated that it should <br />not read 14 million dollars as the fig- <br />ure was not just for the project itself. <br />After corrections, Councilman DiCarlo <br />moved that the minutes be accepted as <br />corrected. Seconded by Councilman <br />DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />Councilman Berry moved that the corres- <br />pondence be accepted and placed under <br />the proper heading. Seconded by Council- <br />woman Scholl. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />PARKS & RECREATION <br /> <br />Mr. Keith Helart asked that Council <br />authorize Parks & Rec to ask for bids to <br />redo the lighting on Miners Field which <br />will be used about four nights a week. <br />The current lighting is unsafe. The <br />money would be taken from the service <br />expansion fee. Mr. Wurl is to ask the <br />City Engineer, Dan White for a bid package <br />for the contractors. Parks would like <br />to have candle power on the field. It <br />would consist of: <br />Outfield 15 Candle Power <br />Infield 20 Candle Power <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Parks & <br />Rec get bids for the job and bring the <br />estimates back to Council for approval. <br />Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Roll <br />call. Domenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl <br />yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Helart reported that a contract in <br />the amount of-$2,800.00 will be used <br />for fencing at the pool. The money will <br />come from the Pool Bond. The fence will <br />be 6' on the north, west and south. The <br />east side will have a partial 6' stake <br />with green vinyl covered chain link fence. <br />
