<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />ROLL eALL: <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES: <br /> <br />VACATION OF ALLEY <br />SIROKHAN & MICHEL <br /> <br />INDUSTRY <br />OBLINGER-SMITH <br />CONTRACT <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />OCTOBER 2, 1973 <br /> <br />Present Mayor Caranci, Councilmen Deborski <br />King Jensen, Donovan, Scholl and Domenico <br />Also present City Administrator Wurl, <br />and City Treasurer Hesson. <br />Absent - City Attorney Morris, and City <br />Clerk McNulty. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico made a correction stating <br />he did not make the motion to raise the salaries <br />of Mayor, Council and City Clerk; also voted no <br />on the roll call vote. Minutes corrected to <br />read Councilman Donovan moved to adopt Ordinance <br />#429 relating to salaries of elected officials. <br />Councilwoman Scholl also stated that since she <br />did not fully understand the Expansion Fee a <br />correction should be made regarding a no roll <br />call vote for her and Councilman Deborski. <br />Councilman King moved that the minutes be <br />approved as corrected. Seconded by Councilman <br />Jensen. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Dave Bailey represented Mrs. Michel who op- <br />posed vacation of the alley east of her property <br />because of ill health and difficulty in walking <br />extra distance to the front of her home. After <br />discussion both parties were advised this was <br />the first reading of Ordinance 41426 and final <br />approval or disapproval would be held on second <br />reading at the October 16th, 1973 meeting. <br /> <br />Joint meeting held September 24, 1973 with <br />Council, CAC Committee and Planning Commission. <br />At this time the Industrial Committee felt that <br />a further study should be held on the possible <br />location and Dennis Drumm was asked to submit <br />a proposed contract along those lines. A discus- <br />sion was held to other sites available such as <br />the Harney property, what the reaction of Boulder <br />County Commissioners and Broomfield would be to <br />our going out of our Comprehensive Plan. ~ayor <br />Caranci also expressed his concern regard~ng the <br />possibility of housing contractors requesting <br />water in the future in conjunction with the land <br />between the City limits and the proposed Monarch <br />site, even though the land is zoned agricultural <br />at the present. Councilman King moved that this <br />matter be returned to the Industrial Committee <br />for further study and that the City pick up the <br />fees for Oblinger-Smith for any meeting they attend. <br />Seconded by Councilman Donovan. Roll call vote - <br />Deborski yes, King yes, Jensen yes, Donovan yes, <br />Scholl yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. <br />
