REGULAR MEETING ROLL eALL: ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES: VACATION OF ALLEY SIROKHAN & MICHEL INDUSTRY OBLINGER-SMITH CONTRACT LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 2, 1973 Present Mayor Caranci, Councilmen Deborski King Jensen, Donovan, Scholl and Domenico Also present City Administrator Wurl, and City Treasurer Hesson. Absent - City Attorney Morris, and City Clerk McNulty. Councilman Domenico made a correction stating he did not make the motion to raise the salaries of Mayor, Council and City Clerk; also voted no on the roll call vote. Minutes corrected to read Councilman Donovan moved to adopt Ordinance #429 relating to salaries of elected officials. Councilwoman Scholl also stated that since she did not fully understand the Expansion Fee a correction should be made regarding a no roll call vote for her and Councilman Deborski. Councilman King moved that the minutes be approved as corrected. Seconded by Councilman Jensen. All in favor. Motion carried. Mr. Dave Bailey represented Mrs. Michel who op- posed vacation of the alley east of her property because of ill health and difficulty in walking extra distance to the front of her home. After discussion both parties were advised this was the first reading of Ordinance 41426 and final approval or disapproval would be held on second reading at the October 16th, 1973 meeting. Joint meeting held September 24, 1973 with Council, CAC Committee and Planning Commission. At this time the Industrial Committee felt that a further study should be held on the possible location and Dennis Drumm was asked to submit a proposed contract along those lines. A discus- sion was held to other sites available such as the Harney property, what the reaction of Boulder County Commissioners and Broomfield would be to our going out of our Comprehensive Plan. ~ayor Caranci also expressed his concern regard~ng the possibility of housing contractors requesting water in the future in conjunction with the land between the City limits and the proposed Monarch site, even though the land is zoned agricultural at the present. Councilman King moved that this matter be returned to the Industrial Committee for further study and that the City pick up the fees for Oblinger-Smith for any meeting they attend. Seconded by Councilman Donovan. Roll call vote - Deborski yes, King yes, Jensen yes, Donovan yes, Scholl yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried.
