<br />'djourned Meeting <br /> <br />Louisville City Council <br /> <br />May 21, 1973 <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order by Mayor Lawrence Caranci at 7:10 p.m. MDST with <br />Councilmen King, Jensen, Scholl and Deborski present. Councilmen Donovan <br />and Domenico arrived at 7:22 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. respectively. Also present <br />City Administrator \.-Jurl and City Engineer White. Absent Attorney Morris and <br />City Clerk McNulty. <br /> <br />WATERING RESTRIC- <br />TIONS <br /> <br />MUNICIPAL LEAGUE <br />CONVENTION <br /> <br />SENATE BILLS <br />COLO. MUNICIPAL <br />LEAGUE <br /> <br />CAPITAL I!1PROVE- <br />MENTS PROGRAM <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci brought up the question of watering restrict- <br />ions. Councilman Jensen moved that the watering hours and <br />day restrictions be lifted on a trail basis and misuse <br />of the watering privilege will result in a minimum fine <br />of $50.00. Seconded by Councilman Deborski. All in <br />favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Question as to how Imany of the members present were <br />going to attend the Colorado Municipal League Conven- <br />tion to be held June 13, 14, and 15th, 1973 in Colorado <br />Springs. Roll call Scholl yes, Donovan yes, Deborski <br />yes, Mayor Caranci yes, King maybe, Domenico maybe, <br />Jensen no. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl lead discussion on Senate Bills <br />92 and 265. After discussion Councilman Jensen moved <br />that Senate Bills 92 and 265 be supported and the City <br />Administrator be instructed to send a letter to the <br />Municipal League giving Council's opinion on all the <br />Bills discussed. Seconded by Councilman King. All in <br />favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A. STREETS - Councilmen present apparently support the <br />idea as presented, but no action taken. <br /> <br />B. WATER LINES: Appeared to be in favor, but no action <br />taken. <br /> <br />C. WATER ~ffiTERS: It was suggested by Percy Connaroe <br />that a water meter be installed each time a house <br />changed hands. After discussion - require further <br />study by City Staff before council acts. <br /> <br />D. FIRE STATION: Mayor Caranci stated he thoughithe <br />building as presented was too expensive, and that <br />the Fire Department should give the City all possi- <br />ble financial help. No official action taken. <br />E. TRUNKLINE SEWER (DYE CONSTRUCTION) After discussion <br />Councilman Deborski moved that Council act in accord- <br />ance \vith City Attorney's report as to routing pro- <br />cedure. Seconded by Councilman King. Roll Call vote <br />Scholl yes, King yes, Deborski yes, Domenico yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />
