<br />COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />FEBRUARY 15, 1972 <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Charles King. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: <br /> <br />Oeborski, Jensen, Donovan, Maxwell, Domenico, Mayor Caranci <br />Attended the meeting later. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MJ}TUTES: Motion b~ Jensen seconded by Deborski that the <br />minutes be accepted as corrected. <br /> <br />COMMITTEES: <br /> <br />Water Committee: <br /> <br />No report. <br /> <br />Street Committee: Deborski suggested going over plans with Max <br />as what can be done and what has to be done. <br />Maxwell stated he had a complaint on the gravel street in the rear <br />of the high school. <br />Suggested that ac~~on be taken to get Main street cleaned. Max <br />stated tha t he wou 1d have Ma in;' street cleaned as soon as the <br />parts for the sweeper is received. Intends to clean Main street <br />once a week. <br /> <br />Finance Com:m1.ttee: Donovan informed council that a C.D. in the <br />of $53,000. has been deposited, other deposits are as follows: <br />March 22nd $47,000. April 21st $100,000. June 21st. $100,000. <br /> <br />Planning Commission: Max read minutes of Planning ~ommiBsion <br />meeting requesting City to accept recommendations of Boulder <br />Count.,., Circulatory plan. Motion by Maxwell seconded by Donovan <br />that City go on record as accepting County Circuatol')" 'Plan.. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Police Commission: Motion by Domenico seconded by Jensen that <br />John McGuire be appointed as patrolman for the City of Louisville <br />with six months probation period retroactive to time of hiring <br />Feb. 10th, 1972. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Dennis Lundberg, president of Urban Renewal , stated that the <br />consultants that were in the City could not find needed int:ormation <br />due to the lack of area comprehensive plan. Urban Renewal Board <br />will have a meeting Thursday night, Feb. 17th council is invited <br />to attend. <br />Donovan-Housing code is positive action, need an inspector. <br />Dennis Lumberg stated the qualifications of an inspector are <br />available from the ~ity of Boulder. Advised that one should <br />be hired on a temEorary basis until a Bermanent one is avail- <br />able. Motion by eborski seconded by onovan that Council <br />ailpoint Urban Renewal .lJoard to seek out !t=-~ a part time <br />Housing In~ector. <br />Remarks: Lundberg-Have one with knowledge in regards to <br />inspecting.
