<br />COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />APRIL 6, 1971 <br /> <br />Regualr meeting called to order by Mayor Pro Tern Perrella. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: <br /> <br />Present Tomeo, ~ing, berry, Mudrock absent Dondelinger <br />absent. Mayor ~aranci came to meeting later. <br /> <br />ACC-:::PTANCE OF MINUTES: <br /> <br />Approved as presented. <br /> <br />CRRRESPONDENCE: <br /> <br />Letter from Whitlock & Nielsen (Auditors) in regards <br />to 1971 audit. <br />Letter from ..Jtate Auditor acknowledging copy of 1970 <br />audit. <br /> <br />JOE j''lADONNA: <br /> <br />Explained Coal creek resolution drawn by George Vranesh. <br />Filing claim on resevoir site this is nocessary to <br />protect the interests of the communities so we can <br />proceed to rrJake filing for resevoir site. Motion by <br />Tomeo seconded by Mudrock that authorization be given <br />to Mayor to sign ordinance. Motion carried. <br />Statement Of f'rincipal being drawn by u.~orge Vranesh. <br />Statement will list names of communities, will exploit <br />any of the others until such formal legality can be <br />worked out. Request for', authorization tor Mayor to <br />sign after being approved by Attorney. Motion by <br />Mudrock seconded by King that the Mayor be authorized <br />to sign ordinance. Motion carried. <br />Joe Madonna to call or write letters to Senators to <br />O.K. soverign entities. <br /> <br />POLICE COMMISSION: <br /> <br />Couneilman Mudrock - Comr~ssion meeting april 14th at 1 O' <br />clock. Applications for patrolmen are in. In regards to <br />John "illiams pay was brought up for discussion. <br />Should have paid for schooling before he received his la~t <br />check. City Administrator or Ghief of :)olice to see if <br />they can collect it. Mudrock requested that the commission <br />be allowed to have a temporary police until.council meets <br />again. It met with a negative answer from l,;cuncil. <br /> <br />IT'SMS ~10T ON AGFNDS: <br /> <br />Dick .bodaine represenative for P',rks & Hecreation asked <br />council if the ground between the City garage a~ Gun <br />Club could be u~'ed as a base ball field. Would ""ity <br />grade this property? Council agreed anc Max to see <br />that it is graded and obtain letter of agreement from <br />the Gun Club. <br />1o.i5l1ille Jacees presented petition for Urban Renewal <br />public heari.ng. Petition accepted and f.ublic hearing <br />will be Tuesday, April 20, 1971. <br />
