<br />COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />SEPT. 7, 1971 <br /> <br />Regualr meeting sal1ed to order by Mayor Lawrence Caranci. <br /> <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Present Tomeo, King, Berry, Mudrock, Dondelinger and Perrella: <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES: Accepted as presented. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE: None <br /> <br />POLICE COMr-rrSSION: Councilman Mudrock reported that the Cemetery Committee <br />decided that plot plans should be made at the Cemetery. <br />George Ellis and. City Administrator to make survey. <br />.. Radar on trial $1000. Could rent one for $91.00 per <br />month and apply on purchase price. Motion b.V Mudrock <br />seconded by King to lease purchase radar after rental <br />is paid.Motion carried. <br /> <br />ITEMS ON AGENDA: <br /> <br />1. Budget - Mr. Neilsen to be notified to be present to <br />help with budget, Monday, Sept. 27th. Work session. <br /> <br />2. Annexation of Hi-way 42. No comments. <br /> <br />"-- <br /> <br />3. Toney DelPizzo inquired about R. R. spur on Pine and <br />Hi-way 42. Area of building would be 30" X 50'" and <br />allow parking for two or three cars. Not in accord <br />with building code. Max to check on boundary line. <br /> <br />4. Church peroperty not for sale, took three years to <br />obtain and not interested in selling. Council re- <br />quested a "'No Fault'" contract with the Church. The <br />church would like to a time limit on removal of the <br />water line. Perrella & uondelinger suggested con- <br />demnation. Max stated it would cost the City about <br />$l!~,OOO. to lay new line. <br /> <br />5. Ordinance on Miller Alley: Ordinance #384 read by <br />title. Motion by Berry seconded by Mudrock to <br />adopt Ordinance 384. Roll Call vote 'l'omeo yes, <br />King yes, Berry yes, Mudrock yes, Dondelinger yes, <br />Perrella yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA: Dennis Lumbert stated that they have a vacancy on <br />the Urban Renewal Housing Board. <br />Housing Code in process will have a meeting first <br />meeting in October. Public hearing last meeting in <br />October. <br /> <br />Ken Bruns, engineer, Stated filter plans and specif- <br />.~ ications almost ready to go to the bidders. <br />Water system improvement copies of drainage. <br />Regards to grant will be held for 60 to 90 days <br />enviromental status requested additional information <br />since forms have been presented. Cost estimate for <br />supplies and etd. <br />
