<br />MINUTES OF COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />Feb. 3, 1970 <br /> <br />Regular meeting called to order by Mayor Lawrence Caranci. <br /> <br />Roll Call following members were present Tomeo, K9FF9\1Ski, Berry, Mudrock, <br />Dondlinger, Perre 118. H f3 ~e "'" K" f'R.D/A) ::'1( I <br /> <br />Minutes read and approved. <br /> <br />Correspondence: Letter from City of ~afayette thankjng Louisville for <br />jail cell, Letter of thanks from Mrs. Ethel Lawrence for rehiring her. <br /> <br />Police Committee: Report by Comcilman Mudrock read. Motion by Perrella <br />seconded by Tomeo to accept report after corrections. Motion Carried. <br />Corrections to be made and copies sent to each Councilman. <br /> <br />Water Committee Report: Report by Councilman Berry. Cppy of report <br />attached to minutes. Motion by Perrella seconded by Mudrock to accept <br />water reuort and continue further study. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Planning ~ommission: Revised plan of Harper Valley tabled to March meeting <br />of Planning Commission. Perrella reported on McCaslin Blvd., considerable <br />opposition from members of County Long Range Planning to this Blvd. Mr. <br />Elliott of Broomfield definetly opposed to having Hi Way. Perrella stated <br />Louisville will continue working for this Hi Way. Public hearing Feb. 29th <br />letter to te sent to County Commissioners by Planning board. Louisville to <br />retain plans as submitted by County Planning. <br />Payment for milage to and from meetings pretaining to City business at .10 <br />cents per mile was discussed. This to be worked out and presented at Feb. 17th <br />meeting. Perrella milage over and above salary should be paid. <br />Motion by Perrella seconded by Mudrock to set up standard procedure of <br />mileage claim. Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Bids were considered on Carpet for council room, City Clerks office and <br />City Administrators Office and Drafting room. <br />Bids were read: Mill End Carpet $1102.00, Don Fleming $1232.00. <br />On Ballot Mill End received five votes' and bid was accepted. Carpet carries <br />three year guarentee and additiona~ seven year warranty. <br /> <br />Recreation: Mayor Caranci requested Council to appoint two or three members <br />to the rtecreation Board. Board now consists of three members Sue Grosso, <br />Rose Ferrari and Hichael Pickett. Hayor appointed Committee to bring in <br />names of possible members. Committee t(l-'prowski, Dondelinger, Mudrock. <br />Nanes to be submitted Meeting of Feb. 17th. <br /> <br />Discussion on building of Mr. Whittaker on out Lot 3. Perrella questioned <br />ditch running along property, flooding who would stand expense? City should <br />have easement. Mr. Whittaker stated he inteilded to raise the building above <br />the height of the center grade of the center of the street. <br />Mr. Whittaker does not have anything to do with the ditch. <br />existing living quarters.
