DIVISION OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT: <br />Dutch elm disea~;e discussed .. where to burnl weather <br />conditions,. etc.'1 and how it would fit in the budget. <br /> <br />HANCOCK & JOHNSTON: Motion, made by Berry and seconded bY' t)pndel- <br />inger that streets in Scenic Heights be accepted, after <br />inspection by Ci.ty Administrator and to meet Bo'ulder <br />County specifications. Roll call vote carried unani- <br />mous~. . <br /> <br />WATER: <br /> <br />Letter from Boulder County Planning COmmission relating <br />to proposal for land use - meeting set for Sept. loth <br />at 7:30 p.m. Percy Conarroe was appointed a D18mber <br />of the IDuisvill.e Plannipg COmmission. <br /> <br />Council set a meeting with Lafayette, to discuss <br />: city's water and sewer as outlined by Stearn:'! & <br />Rogers. No posi- <br />tive action takerl for the present. Held in abeyance. <br /> <br />FALL FESTIVAL: Bob Ross and Joe Ray,asked to have Main St. closed to <br />traffic on Labor Day from Lafayette to Griffith. Also <br />on nights of the 41 $1 61 & 7 traffic becloaed from <br />Griffith to the High School. Talked to Chief Patrick .. <br />enough men to patrol. Will use State Flag in the parade. <br />l"btion made by TOIJneol seconded by Kaprowski to grant <br />permission for closing of streets for Festival. Motion <br />carried. ' <br /> <br />POLICE COMMISSION: Officers to be commended for interest taken in going <br />to school. <br />
