Letter from Boulder County Planning Department. <br />purpose of letter to present recommended projects for 1971- <br />1972 State Hiway Budget. A. R. Perrella and Joe Madonna <br />to represent Louirville. Meeting Oct. ,19, 1970 at 7:30 P. M. <br />Commissioners Hearing r,oom. Recommendation~ same as last <br />year. Recommended by lJouncil to suggest repairs to Murphy <br />Hill and four lanes on South Boulder. Perrella suggested <br />that completion of McCaslin Boulevard be discussed. <br />Z. Sept. 21st work session when Council will discuss <br />Louisville's Urban Renewal with the Cities comprehensive plan. <br />3. Planning Commission. recommends to City Council that <br />the site of E PIC Development be approved and that water <br />service plan bp-. approved as quickly as possible. <br />Planning Commission recommended that two Council members be <br />appointed to serve on Committee with two Planning Board <br />members to come'up with answers in r,egards to Harper Valley <br />development Sept. 24, 1970. Hayor Caranci appointed Howard <br />Berry and Allen Koprowski (Berry as Chairmen), Planning <br />Commission Joe ~adonna, Robert Sneddon, Sanitation Perre1l~ <br />and Tomeo,. <br /> <br />WATER: Berry stated that he had talked to Cliff Brock and $30.000. <br />should be forth caroming from Deland and Hilgers by end of next <br />week. Should have progress report from Ken Bruns on project on <br />the hill. Pipe size must be established by Oct. 10th meeting <br />at 7 O'Cloc:k. <br />Water shareis for sale Farmers Il.~rigation, Howard and Dry Creek. <br />Water Commi.ttee to meet with these people. <br /> <br />POLICE COM}ITTTEE: Councilman Mudrock requested that permission be given <br />to paint the pat.rol car black and white. Cost $7.00 <br />Motion by Dondelinger permission be given to paint the car for <br />$7.00. Sec:ondpd by. Koprowski Motion carried. . <br />Patrolman ':;)andlin will attend Police training for three weeks <br />starti ng SE~pt. 13th. All patrolmen who receive such training <br />through Cit.y funds be required to pay the cost if they: should <br />resign from the force within one year without good cause. <br />}1(')tion by Koprowski seconded by Berry that :'Jandlin attend school <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />STREETS: Perrella reported that all "No Parking Zones" have been painted <br />yellow, ~lll fire plugs have been painted and front of the show. <br />Streets Btill' being patched. Flatiron Paving Co. inspected <br />several streets-for repaing. HiSchool curb and gutter will be <br />improved .next week. New street lights on Main Street to be <br /> <br />installed by Public Service. <br />
