Motion carried. <br /> <br />POJ~ICE CO:!'1MITTE1<:: l1r.Peterson came before Council in protest in <br />regards to Police policies concerning traffic <br />tiekets. Stated he "had talked to Chief of . <br />Police and others but nothing had been done <br />in regards to this matter. Mayor Caranci re- <br />f'Jsed to let him talk and advised that he should <br />w~ite a letter or appear in person to the Police <br />Cor;:mi t tee. <br />Police Chief Jim Patrick has received Federal Aid <br />control funds in amn1mt of $4,581.90. Citys share of <br />the cost would be $2,144.00 if it is willing to <br />specnd this amount.:: <br /> <br />ITp,'vrS NOT m~ AGENDA; Ci ty Council re ve:iA7ed a utili ty ser .,ice area of <br />3500 acres as ou~;Lined by Boulder planning department <br />Council will orf~ci~lly adopt after engineer approves. <br />BCllmdaries would run from the Cemetery east to Centarus <br />school along Lafayette service line to turnpike and <br />along the t':rnpike to Coal Creek to intersection of <br />42 back to cemetery. <br /> <br />ADHD1ISTRATORS RE'?ORT: Mr. Sanks stated he had bid from Flatiron Pav- <br />ing in regards to repairing some of the streets, <br />will also abtain bid from Western Paving. <br />City crew busy clarning up around filter plant. <br />Locks are l::eing placed on filter and also covers <br />on clear 'wells. Nelv traffic signs have beeri installed <br />at the 8chool zones~'.,:3 new street lights are to be <br />installed, located at Jefferson Ave. and Sunset, in <br />rear of 421 County Road, Griffith & Lincoln. . <br />ITEHS NOT ON AGENDA: <br />Mayor Ca,ranci appointed Councilman Mudrock as Cahir- <br />man of the building committee replacing Berry. <br />Amendment 113 in rep:ards to local government reform <br />to be placod on ballot in November would be in re- <br />g3rds to home rule cities and service authorities. <br />Jfuyor Caranci appointed Councilman Howard Berry to <br />'r!3pre~ent the City along with Joe Madonna.
