<br /> <br />Cultural Council <br />Agenda <br />March 19, 2009 <br />Recreation Center <br />900 West Via Appia <br />7:00 <br />PM <br /> <br />Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:03pm <br />Roll Call <br />Present: Don Atwood, Julie Kovash, Andy Langford, Rebecca Lasica, Lynn Wooten, and Farren Wyner. <br />City Council Member Frost Yarnell <br />City Staff: Julie Sydelle and Kathy Martin. <br />Absent: Carol Cheh, Maryan Jaross, Susan McNamara, and Jum Policita <br />Approval of Agenda <br />nd <br />Don Atwood moved to approve the agenda. All others were in favor. <br />Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda (5 Minutes Each) <br />The following members of the public attended the meeting: <br />Center Stage Theater: Amy Austin. Present to listen to conversations regarding Art Center use and scheduling. <br />CCCT: Lynn Fleming – Spoke to LCC regarding Art Center use and scheduling. <br />Youth Advisory Board: Members present to observe and report back to YAB. Instead of poetry slam this year, <br />YAB is co-hosting a “Poet-A-Thon” instead. Includes youth from Louisville Schools. Community <br />encouraged to attend. <br />Updates <br />President's Report/Arts Center Usage/John Breaux Memorial/SCFD/BCAA/City Council <br />Working Session – Julie <br /> <br />Treasurer's Report/Correspondence – Jim - Absent <br />City Council Update – Frost Yarnell <br /> <br />City Staff Update <br /> – <br />Kathy, Julie S. <br />BCAA Workshop <br /> – <br />Farren attended the BCAA workshop regarding audience development. Many ideas <br />were expressed as outlined in March meeting packet. Very worthwhile event. <br /> <br />
