<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1267 <br />SERIES 1997 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE SEWER TAP FEES IN THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to keep pace with the rising costs of <br />providing sewer services, and to provide the necessary capital <br />improvements needed for adequate sewer services, City staff has <br />recommended an increase of two hundred dollars ($200.00) in the <br />City sewer tap fee for single-.family dwellings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, <br />has determined that an increase in such sewer tap fee charged by <br />the City is necessary to adequately finance the services provided <br />by the City's sewer activity enterprise. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />,Section 1. <br />13.24.030 of the <br />amended to read <br />through; numbers <br /> <br />The Table contained in Subsection A of Section <br />Louisville Municipal Code, entitled "Tap Fee" is <br />as follows (numbers to be deleted are stricken <br />to be added are underlined) : <br /> <br />Year Tap Purchased <br /> <br />Amount <br /> <br />1989 <br />1990 <br />1991 <br />1992 <br />1993-1996 <br />01/01/97 - 10/19/97 <br />10/20/97 and thereaf~ <br /> <br />$2,163.00 <br />2,228.00 <br />2,295.00 <br />2,364.00 <br />2,435.00 <br />2,520.00 <br />2.720.00 <br /> <br />Section 2. The tap fee increase contained in Sections 1 of <br />this Ordinance shall take effect upon the effective date of this <br />ordinance pursuant to C.R.S. S31-16-105. <br /> <br />Section 3.
