Mayor Sisk <br />placed Consent Agenda Item 4G under Regular Business, Agenda Item 7G. <br />Mayor Sisk moved the consent agenda be approved as amended, seconded by <br />Mayor Pro Tern Brown. Approval of Elevator & Escalator Safety Inspection Program <br /> Intergovernmental Agreement with Denver Regional Council of <br /> Governments <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Randy Luallin, 301 East Street, Louisville, CO reported on January 9, Comcast <br />prohibited a regularly scheduled public access cable television program to air. <br />He outlined Comcast's violations of the franchise agreement and recommended <br />implementation of fines. He requested negotiations with Comcast on a new <br />agreement be suspended and that Council appoint a board to manage the public <br />access channel to interface with Comcast. He requested an ordinance requiring <br />public access channels, studio, equipment and technical expertise as part of any <br />franchise agreement for use of the public domain for cable. He demanded an <br />apology from Comcast, and asked if the Council intends to act on behalf of the <br />people in regards to public access television, that it be publicly known. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk made two announcements: 1) The City Council Ethics Seminar is <br />Wednesday, January 25,2006, at the Louisville Municipal Court at 7:00 p.m., <br />and 2) the Louisville Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner is Thursday, January <br />26, 2006, at the Blue Parrot Cafe. <br />Council member Clabots announced the Senior Foundation Board will host their <br />Annual Heat Relief Spaghetti Dinner on Thursday, February 16, from 5:00 to 8:00 <br />p.m. All proceeds will go to Louisville needy families to help defray heating bills. <br />
