APPOINTMENTS OF CITY OFFICIALS - OATH OF OFFICE BY CITY CLERK NANCYVARRA Judicial Appointments: Two-year terms: Municipal Judge and Deputy Judge. MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved that Council reappoint W. Bruce Joss as Municipal Judge and Lawrence S. Mertes as Deputy Judge. Council member Clabots seconded the motion. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 7-0. City Clerk Varra swore in Judge Joss and Deputy Judge Mertes. Judge Joss stated he and Deputy Judge Mertes strive to maintain a Court where people can be heard and have their day in Court. Judge Joss and Deputy Judge Mertes thanked the Mayor and City of Council for their reappointment.
