City Council Meeting Minutes February 7,2006 Page 17 of 18 LIBRARY UPDATE Deputy City Manager Boyd referred Council to the library update report in the City Council packet. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT City Attorney Light reported a hearing in the Donato Open Records case is scheduled for Friday, February 10, in the Boulder County District Court. He also reported on pending litigation on the 96th Street Project. St. Paul Insurance Company is legal counsel and will be filing a response to the lawsuit. He thanked Council for their consideration of the City Attorney's compensation. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT City Manager Simmons reported on the following: . Xcel Energy has filed an application for a permanent site for a high- pressure station. . Additional playground equipment has been ordered for Memory Square Park. . The Business Retention Committee February 6 meeting included discussion relative to hiring a professional photographer and adding Planning Commission member Hank Dalton to the committee. Mayor Pro Tem Brown supported the Business Retention Committee's hiring a professional photographer and adding Planning Commissioner member Hank Dalton to the Committee.
