The software costs were <br /> reasonable, but the cost for training and conversion was high and most likely <br /> would have increased over the life of the project. Because the reporting <br /> packages were complicated and difficult to use the project was put on hold. <br /> The City of Broomfield recently purchased Innoprise Software and is in the <br /> process of installing Utility Billing. The City of Louisville visited and conferred with <br /> the vendor at Broomfield City facility and was impressed with the software and its <br /> functionality. The vendor was invited to attend an all day on-site visit to the City <br /> of Louisville, where various City departments attended the demonstrations and <br /> were also impressed. There were no comments. <br /> MOTION: Council member Sackett moved Council award bid for purchase of <br /> accounting software to Innoprise Software, and authorize the Mayor to execute <br /> the agreements, seconded by Council member Yarnell. <br /> Council member Muckle asked if the City Staff is confident with the longevity of <br /> the Innoprise Company. Finance Director Leslie introduced the President of <br /> Innoprise Software Company. <br /> Dennis Harward, President and CEO of Innoprise Software Company, stated he <br /> is a third-generation software developer. He explained the program is solely for <br /> local governmental purposes and voiced his belief the Innoprise Software <br /> program is a 50-year solution. <br /> VOTE: Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 7-0. <br />
