<br /> City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> April 4, 2006 <br /> Page 9 of 9 <br /> City Manager Simmons reported on the following: <br /> . Responses on the RFP for Public Access Provider are due back April 7. A <br /> Council recommendation will be at the April 18 City Council meeting. <br /> . An incident at the Recreation Center where a defibrillator was used. The <br /> City Manager approved the Director of Recreation and Senior Services <br /> request for two more units. Simmons requested authorization to purchase <br /> defibrillating equipment for the City Hall and at the Library. City Staff will <br /> be trained to use the equipment, and to train other City employees. <br /> . The April 11 Study Session Agenda Items include meeting with Eric <br /> Jensen, Manager of the Coal Creek Golf Course and the Louisville <br /> Housing Authority. <br /> . City Staff will meet with Superior Town Staff relative to financial support <br /> for the new library. <br /> . Two new employees will be added to the Library Staff; one three-quarter <br /> time employee for the library and technical services division and one full- <br /> time teen coordinator. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Mayor Sisk reported the Finance Committee has concerns with the shortfall in <br /> sales tax. He congratulated newly elected Superior Mayor Andrew Muckle and <br /> commended former Superior Mayor Mark Hamilton for his work in Superior. He <br /> requested a congratulatory letter be written to Mayor Muckle. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> Council member Clabots moved for adjournment, seconded by Council member <br /> Muckle.
