<br /> City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> June 6, 2006 <br /> Page 15 of 16 <br />The final painting and carpeting of the interior are being completed. Staff has <br />requested estimates for additional items for the building exterior. Those items <br />include tile around the base of the building and concrete columns on the Spruce <br />Street side of the building. The exterior site is now being prepared for the Street <br />Faire. Deputy City Manager Boyd stated if Council would like a tour of the new <br />library she would schedule a date. <br />City Manager Simmons reported he and the Deputy City Manager met with a <br />transportation planner with Fehr & Peers, to review downtown traffic patterns in <br />order to establish a parking plan. A workshop will be held on June 29 and the <br />final plan will be presented to City Council on July 15, 2006. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />City Attorney Light reviewed the Settlement Documents for the Mayhoffer Quiet <br />Title and presented a diagram illustrating the property. He also reported Special <br />Counsel in the Hamon lawsuit has filed a motion to dismiss in that case. An <br />email was received from Hamon's counsel relative to settlement discussions. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />Public Works Director Phare reported the City's raw water supply is in good <br />shape. The Public Works Department will continue to monitor the water supply. <br />The reuse waterline is being used to irrigate the Coal Creek Golf Course. <br />Land Management Director Scott Robson reported on the rental of the Caranci <br />Pavilion for City events and private reservations. Live music permits are not <br />being allowed at the Community Park or at the Band Shell. Reservations of the <br />Community Park are restricted to parties of 250 people or less. He also reported <br />on the Skate Park repair negotiations with the contractor. The contractors will <br />begin repairs to the Skate Park on July 13 and is scheduled to complete those <br />repairs by August 18. <br />Council member Muckle inquired as to the open space encroachments in the <br />City. Robson stated the Land Management Department continues to monitor the <br />encroachments into the open space.. <br />City Manager Simmons reported on the following: <br />. The City has received an application for the rezoning of the Gateway <br /> Subdivision Replat A by McStain Neighborhoods. <br />. Work is being done at the Louisville Cemetery. Fifty percent of the lot <br /> sales go to the perpetual care of the cemetery. The bases of the <br /> monuments are being reset. <br />
