<br /> City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> July 18, 2006 <br /> Page 7 of 7 <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Council member Clabots asked Public Works Director Phare to report on the <br />Water Committee meeting. <br />Public Works Director Phare reported the Water Committee met on July 14. At <br />the meeting the water supply and demand was discussed along with the winter <br />carryover target and a drought update. There was discussion of a draft Coal <br />Creek Minimum Stream Flow letter, and a lease status report on C-BT leases, <br />Reuse leases and the SWSP Pipeline Capacity lease. The City's Water Attorney <br />addressed mediation discussion with the City of Boulder and suggested a City <br />Council member attend those mediations, which will begin on August 28. <br />Council member Clabots disclosed his wife is a City of Boulder employee and <br />therefore he would recuse himself from the mediation discussion. <br />Council member Muckle reported the Erie Open Space Committee has <br />expressed an interest in Coal Creek.. He suggested sending them a copy of the <br />Coal Creek Minimum Stream Flow letter. <br />Mayor Sisk reported the Recreation Center is under budget for this year. He <br />commended Senior Service & Recreation Director Keith Williams and his staff. <br />He also noted the rounds of golf at the Coal Creek Golf course have increased. <br />He congratulated the Coal Creek Golf course staff. <br />ADJOURN <br />Chari <br />- <br />
