This would lower sales tax allocation to Capital Projects <br /> fund by about $440,000 for 2007. <br />. A ($110,000) shortage in service expansion fees is expected due to a <br /> slow down in commercial development in 2006 and for future years. <br />. The City received a $1,500 donation for the Memory Square fire and an <br /> insurance reimbursement for $41,000 in 2006 to cover the cost of repairs. <br />. Investment income is expected to be $120,000 in 2006. <br />. Capital improvements for 2006 are expected to be down by $214,000 <br /> primarily due to the postponement of the City Shops renovations. <br />. The inter-fund loan to the Library Capital Projects Fund is expected to be <br /> paid by September 30,2006, when the old library building is sold. <br />. Most capital projects for 2006 will be spent to the budgeted amounts. <br />. In 2007-2011 there are three! large road projects that have federal funding <br /> grants. <br />Council discussed proposed road projects, McCaslin Interchange, Dillon Road <br />and Highway 42 are granted in part:, by various agencies, Boulder County, the <br />Northwest Parkway Authority, the Colorado Department of Transportation <br />(CDOT) and Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG). <br />Council member Sackett asked what would be the consequences of not going <br />forward on the Dillon Road project. Public Works Director Phare stated there <br />would be a loss of efficiency and explained the CTC District is required to <br />complete road improvement along their property, and waiting on the Dillon Road <br />project, may require the City to redo that section of the road. Council discussed <br />postponing the Dillon Road improvements. <br /> CONSERVATION TRUST - LAND ACQUISITIONS <br />Finance Director Leslie explained ~)O% of Land Management salaries would be <br />moved to the Conservation Trust - Land Acquisitions. Mowing cost will also be <br />paid out of this fund. Council discussed possible reductions to the proposed <br />Sports Complex Scoreboards (4). Land Management Director Robson noted <br />there has been some discussion of sponsorship to defray the cost of the <br />scoreboards. Two trails are proposed for the 2007 Conservation Trust - Land <br />Acquisition fund: the Harney Lastoka Trail, and the Fischer Farms Trail link to <br />the Tamarisk Trail.
