Council members voiced their support of the development of the <br />Community Gardens. <br />CONSERVATION TRUST - LOTTERY <br />Finance Director Leslie reported three Soccer fields were cut from the 2007 <br />Conservation Trust - Lottery fund budget. Mayor Sisk inquired as to the <br />availability of grants for funding those projects. Land Management Director <br />Robson stated there would be opportunities for grant writing this fall. <br />City Manager Simmons addressed the expansion of the Louisville Cemetery and <br />the need for seeding grass, plantin~~ trees, and installing irrigation systems. He <br />explained a portion of the proceeds from sales and permits go to Capital <br />Projects for the cemetery maintenance and improvements. The majority of the <br />funds go to the perpetual care fund for the cemetery. <br />ADVANCE MEETING CALENDAR <br />City Manager Simmons reviewed future City Council agenda items, which <br />include the following: a presentation on the 3-D Model of Highway 42, a <br />Resolution amending the Final PUD Plan for Balfour; presentation from City <br />Water Attorney, a draft of Hoyle Property Amendment to the Northwest Parkway <br />Agreement; the Telephone Communication Fee Ordinance, City Hall Remodel <br />and Library Project Updates, and the Trailer Ordinance. City Manager Simmons <br />reminded Council of their joint meeting with the Boulder Valley School District <br />Board n the morning of Thursday, September 14. <br />Mayor Sisk addressed the vacancy of the Open Space Advisory Board, and <br />expressed his desire to wait until the first of the year to make that appointment. <br />ADJOURN <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:25 p.m. <br />Chari <br />
