<br /> City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> October 17, 2006 <br /> Page 11 of 12 <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS SUSPENDED <br /> MAYOR REQUESTED THE CITY COUNCIL CONVENE AN EXECUTIVE <br /> SESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REVIEW OF <br /> THE CITY MANAGER <br /> Mayor Sisk requested the Council convene an executive session to discuss the <br /> annual performance review of the City Manager. <br /> Deputy City Clerk Hanson read Section 2.90.050 of the Louisville Municipal <br /> Code, which describes the topics that may be discussed in an executive session. <br /> City Attorney Light reviewed a statement of authority for convening an executive <br /> session according to the Louisville Home Rule Charter and Colorado Revised <br /> Statutes. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved CounGiI convene an executive session to discuss <br /> the annual performance review of the City Manager as authorized by the Charter <br /> provision and statute as noted by the City Attorney, seconded by Council <br /> member Sackett. All in favor. <br /> Mayor Sisk asked City Attorney Sam Light to join Council in the executive <br /> session. <br /> City Council went into executive session at 9:04 p.m. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS CONTINUTED <br /> Mayor Sisk called the regular business meeting back to order at 10:55 p.m. <br /> Mayor Sisk reported the executive session attended by Council members and <br /> Attorney Light pertained to the performance evaluation of the City Manager. <br /> Attorney Light confirmed the executlive session related to a matter authorized by <br /> City Charter and a written report of the performance review would be prepared <br /> according to the Charter requirement. <br /> City Manager Simmons mentioned if the Council wished, he would welcome an <br /> opportunity to discuss the evaluation after reading the written report. <br />
