He suggested Council go ahead with the <br /> agenda items originally scheduled after the executive session. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> No report. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> City Manager Simmons reported on the Environmental Impact Statement team <br /> presentation and transportation meeting mentioned earlier. He stated the <br /> Planning Department has requested a meeting with Council, Planning <br /> Commission and the Revitalization Commission on November 20th. He updated <br /> Council on some development items. <br /> Simmons shared two items from the City Clerk's office. City Clerk Nancy Varra <br /> has received a scholarship to attend a conference for the Colorado Government <br /> Finance Officers/Colorado Municipal Clerks Association as well as a discount for <br /> being a presenter. He congratulated Deputy City Clerk Hanson on having <br /> received the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk from the International <br /> Institute of Municipal Clerks. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Council member Marsella stated she will be attending a retreat with the Youth <br /> Advisory Board. <br /> Council member Clabots reported on his meeting with the Senior Advisory Board. <br /> Council member Muckle reminded c:itizens of the Ward I meeting. Council <br /> member Yarnell mentioned the Ward 2 meeting to be held at the Court building. <br /> Council member Brown reported on the Louisville gift card program. He <br /> mentioned an alternative program he is investigating as the gift card program <br /> may not come to fruition before the holiday season. He encouraged the Council <br /> to face the difficult issue of keeping the library viable. <br /> Council member Marsella complimented City Manager Simmons and staff for the <br /> "State of the City" presentation at the Chamber of Commerce luncheon. <br />
