<br /> recommended access and the best alternative.
<br /> Mayor Sisk requested public comment.
<br /> Michael Menaker, 1827 W. Choke Cherry Drive, Louisville, CO stated McStain is
<br /> a fine company, but there are a lot of issues surrounding their proposal. He did
<br /> not support the claim the proposal was compliant with the comprehensive plan,
<br /> and the zoning. He stated there would be no issues with traffic if only seven
<br /> houses were built as stipulated by the zoning. His main concern centered on
<br /> traffic and traffic safety. He urged Council to maintain the low density zoning.
<br /> Neal Oberfeld, Omni Financial Services, Inc., 633 17th Street, Denver, CO
<br /> explained his company is the lender on the property. He stated Omni has no
<br /> intention of developing the property and has worked with the City for two years to
<br /> find an appropriate developer. He voiced his concern should the plan be denied.
<br /> Rick Woodruff, 820 Mt. Evans Court, Louisville, CO voiced his support of the
<br /> proposed plan and McStain's commitment to build a quality community. He did
<br /> not believe the additional homes would affect the traffic.
<br /> Martha Gagliano, 1077 W. Willow Street, Louisville, CO did not support the
<br /> proposal due to the traffic and safety issues.
<br /> Steve Reed, 949 W. Willow Street, Louisville, CO stated he respected the
<br /> Planning Commission's review. He noted lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7,10,14,15,17,20,
<br /> 22, 23, 24, 25 are all too small to support the zoning. He asked Council to
<br /> consider the original zoning.
<br /> Susan Morris, 939 W. Maple Court, Louisville, CO reviewed Resolution No. 38,
<br /> Series 2005 relative to rezoning. She stressed the importance of this Gateway to
<br /> the City. She voiced her concern over the traffic safety issues, view corridor
<br /> obstruction, and the density. She stated the 25 units are too many.
<br /> Seth Johnson, 979 W. Willow Street, Louisville, CO addressed the proper role of
<br /> government, and the value of this particular parcel to the City. He stated the
<br /> proposal does not mesh with the community, nor does it enhance the City. He
<br /> voiced his concern over the traffic issues and requested low density.
<br /> Sharon Szabados, 1836 Continental View, Louisville, CO stated McStain made a
<br /> very good presentation, however she did not support the increase in density.
<br /> She voiced her belief it would not be a benefit to Louisville and the added traffic
<br /> would be a detriment.
