<br /> City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 5, 2006 <br /> Page 3 of 21 <br />Mayor Sisk stated the resignation was arrived at mutually. He noted Bill's service <br />to the City has been exemplified by the highest standards of leadership. His <br />leadership, and his significant experience and familiarity with the city, will be <br />missed. Acting City Manager Heather Balser will be the Interim City Manager. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown commended City Manager Simmons on his leadership, <br />high standards and many contributions to the City. He welcomed Heather Balser <br />into her new role. <br />Council member Muckle thanked City Manager Simmons for his many <br />contributions during tenure with the City of Louisville. He also welcomed Balser. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to accept the separation agreement with City <br />Manager Simmons, seconded by Council member Marsella. Roll call vote was <br />taken. The motion carried by a vote of 7-0. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to appoint Heather Balser as Interim City Manager, <br />seconded by Council member Muckle. All in favor. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Frosty Woolridge, 1458 Ford Place, Louisville, CO addressed immigration issues <br />and enforcement of the existing ordinances including sideyard restrictions and <br />keeping of junk. He urged Council to enforce the City's ordinances. <br />Ooug Grinbergs, 530 W. Sycamore Circle, Louisville, CO reported on a green <br />building conference he attended and presented brochures to Council. He <br />requested the City adopt a green building code for developers. <br />Annie Hughes, 2405 Garfield Court, Louisville, CO also voiced her support of <br />sustainable green building in Louisviille. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk expressed the Council's support to the Muckle family, whose home <br />was damaged by fire on Sunday night. Council member Muckle expressed his <br />thanks to the Police Oepartment, Louisville Fire Oepartment, and his neighbors <br />for their prompt assistance and support. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />AWARD BID TO BETTER BUSINESS CLEANING FOR BUILDING <br />MAINTENANCE CONTRACT <br />
