He asked to recognize the Warembourgs for working cooperatively <br />with the City to see that their land remain as open space. He also commended the Boulder <br />County Commissioners for agreeing to contribute half the cost of this land. He felt that <br />this is a key piece of land for the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />Lathrop explained that this agreement has been two-and-a-half years in the making, and <br />asked to extend thanks to Klubert and Helen Warembourg and to their daughter, Chris <br />Wecker. He commended them for their negotiation skills and for their desire to see this <br />land remain as it is today. <br /> <br />Lathrop moved that Council approve Resolution No. 18, Series 1999 - A Resolution <br />Approving a Purchase Contract to Buy and Sell Vacant Real Estate, Water Rights and <br />Conservation Easement, seconded by Keany. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken.
