LABOR DAY PARADE ON PINE STREET <br />LOUISVILLE <br />FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS <br />The 85th Annual Labor Day Parade will take place on <br />Monday, September 6, 2021 at 10 AM with the theme <br />'Friends and Neighbors'. Due to the temporary <br />closure of Main Street to support downtown dining, <br />the parade route will run along Pine Street, starting at <br />Via Appia and ending at Hoover Avenue. <br />Labor Day in Louisville is the biggest community <br />celebration of the year. Don't miss the chance to come <br />together with friends and neighbors to experience a <br />weekend celebrating the community spirit of <br />Louisville as we enjoy being back together again. <br />The Children's Pet Parade and Fall Festival in Memory <br />Square Park will not take place this year. <br />Road/Lane Closures <br />The eastbound lane of Via Appia will closed to vehicles <br />from McCaslin to Pine. Pine Street will be closed to <br />vehicles from Via Appia to McKinley. <br />Both closures will take place on Monday, Sept. 6 from 8 <br />AM to 2 PM. <br />The Recreation & Senior Center will also be closed on <br />Labor Day. <br />Visit LouisvilleCO.gov/LaborDay for more details. <br />LABOR DAY WEEKEND EVENTS <br />The Louisville Art Association's 2021 Fine Art Show & <br />Sale will open at 2 PM on Friday, September 3 (through <br />September 12) at the Louisville Center for the Arts. <br />The Annual Senior Dinner will take place at 5 PM on <br />Friday, September 3, 2021 in Memory Square Park. The <br />event is free and no RSVP is required. <br />The Louisville Historical Museum will be participating <br />in the First Friday Art Walk on September 3 between 6 <br />and 8 PM. The game will <br />feature historic uniforms, equipment, and game rules, <br />and take place at Louisville's own historic ball park that <br />has been the location of countless ball games since <br />the late 1800s.
